When you join The Family Tree at Napier Family Centre you help families in our community grow in strength, confidence, knowledge and spirit.
From just $10 a month your contribution will make a valuable and tangible difference to a family’s life through Napier Family Centre services. Your contribution helps families in turmoil and you will:
- Help a family receive in-home visits over 3 months for developing parenting skills, establishing boundaries, managing separation or step-families.
- Enable a 7 - 10yr old to attend a course to grow self-esteem, develop social skills and explore feelings and managing their anger.
- Allow a distressed family to regain control of their financial situation with the help of a trained Budget Adviser.
- Enable a young child to work through anxiety, trauma, grief and attachment disorders by receiving therapy.
- Provide help from a qualified, skilled Youth Worker for a teenager experiencing depression, stress, anxiety.
- Help a young girl 10 - 12 yrs old gain motivation, confidence and inspiration from a mentor for a year.
- Give a baby of a teenage mother a better start in life by teaching the teenage parent vital parenting skills.
- Help fund the van that ensures preschoolers whose parents have no means of transport can attend our Early Childhood Learning Centre.
- Purchase necessary equipment and resources for our Early Childhood Services.
